1ST YEAR - CERTIFICATE II IN MAKE-UP SERVICES - GOVERNMENT FUNDED

(Students attend Elly Lukas 1 day per week and can complete this qualification in 1 year. Students who successfully complete this 1st year of study may then progress into the 2nd year of study which is the Certificate III in Beauty Services. Students must successfully complete the 1st year of study (i.e. successfully complete the Certificate II in Make-Up Services) and will receive Credit Transfer for completed units towards the Certificate III in Beauty Services which can be completed in the 2nd year of study. Alternatively, students can elect to exit after completing the 1st year and graduate with the Certificate II in Make-Up Services qualification.

2ND YEAR - CERTIFICATE III IN BEAUTY SERVICES - GOVERNMENT FUNDED

(Students attend Elly Lukas 1 day per week and with the credits for the units completed in the 1st year of studies (Certificate II in Make-Up Services) can complete the Certificate III in Beauty Services qualification in 1 year). The Certificate III qualification builds upon the Make-Up artistry skills obtained in the 1st year of study and includes Waxing, Nail Technology (Acrylics/Gels), Tinting and other related salon services. Students who successfully complete the 2nd year of study will graduate with the Certificate III in Beauty Services and will receive Credit Transfer for completed units towards the Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy or elect to exit at this point and graduate with the Certificate III in Beauty Services qualification obtaining employment as a "Beautician" or "Beauty Worker".

3RD YEAR - OPTIONAL CERTIFICATE IV BEAUTY THERAPY WRB40105 - GOVERNMENT FUNDED

(Students proceeding into the 3rd year of study have in most cases completed their Secondary School studies (either at Year 11 or 12) and are able to undertake a full time course load. The Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy builds upon the skills obtained in the Certificate III in Beauty Therapy and provides in depth training in Beauty Therapy skills, including Facials & Advanced Facials, Massage and other related salon services. Students can attend the College for approximately 3 days per week for 1 year to complete this qualification.

4TH YEAR - OPTIONAL DIPLOMA OF BEAUTY THERAPY WRB50105 - VET FEE-HELP APPROVED

(Students who have successfully completed the Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy will receive Credit Transfer for completed units and pathway entry into Diploma of Beauty Therapy. The Diploma builds upon the skills obtained in the Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy and provides in depth training in Spa, Massage, Aromatherapy, Business & Retail skills. In some circumstances and subject to the College's approval, students may be able to undertake Diploma subjects alongside Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy subjects in the 3rd year of study.

4TH YEAR - OPTIONAL DIPLOMA OF RESORT MANAGEMENT SPA 21865VIC - VET FEE-HELP APPROVED

(Students who have successfully completed the Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy will receive Credit Transfer for completed units and pathway entry into Diploma of Resort Management Spa.  This is a unique qualification in which students attend the specialist centre for foods, tourism & hospitality - William Angliss Institute to complete management, tourism and hospitality subjects and Elly Lukas to complete Spa, Massage and Aromatherapy subjects.

5TH YEAR - OPTIONAL BACHELOR OF HEALTH SCIENCES (DERMAL THERAPIES)

(Students who have successfully completed the Diploma of Beauty Therapy may apply for pathway entry into the Bachelor of Health Science (Dermal Therapies) degree course. The degree course is normally a 4 year duration, but Elly Lukas graduates with pathway entry can complete the degree course in 2.5 years at Victoria University. The Bachelor of Health Science extends the skills and knowledge of our Diploma students into areas such as Laser, IPL, Cosmetic Peels, and Microdermabrasion. The degree course qualifies graduates as Dermal Clinicans enabling them to work in areas including post-operative skincare, laser and cosmetic medical clinics.

5TH YEAR - OPTIONAL BACHELOR OF TOURISM & HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT 

(Students who have successfully completed the Diploma of Resort Management Spa may apply for pathway entry into the Bachelor of Tourism & Hospitality Management degree course offered by William Angliss Institute. The degree course is normally a 4 year duration, but Diploma of Resort Management Spa graduates can complete the degree course in 3 years.
